Rocky Mountain Audio Fest with beyerdynamic
The Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (Denver, 6 to 8 October 2017) is the largest consumer audio and home entertainment show in the USA. In early October, more than 400 exhibitors from North and South America, Europe, Australia and Asia showed off their innovations. The CanJam@RMAF is, on the other hand, a show within a show. beyerdynamic took part and presented the Aventho wireless headphones. beyerdynamic colleague Mario Gebhardt also represented our company at a discussion with the motto: ‘Innovating the future of portable audio’.

beyerdynamic at the InfoComm India
With a small but effective booth, beyerdynamic exhibited at the InfoComm in Mumbai from 26 to 28 September 2017. The focus of this important show for system integration and conference technology in the Indian/Asia-Pacific region was beyerdynamic’s Orbis and Quinta conference systems. The technical possibilities of ceiling-mounted array microphones was also presented, with the MPR 210/211 as an impressive live demo as well as the wireless TG 1000 microphone system. The trade fair team held some very intensive discussions with the highly qualified specialist visitors. beyerdynamic was prominently represented at the AV Executive Conference on the evening before by our Indian colleague Naveen Sridhar as a participant in the panel discussion.

beyerdynamic at the 2017 BRICS Gala
From 3 to 5 September 2017, the heads of state of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa met in China for the annual summit of the BRICS states. As part of the accompanying programme, the Chinese hosts organised a gala reception in the Banlam Grand Theatre, which was broadcast live on numerous Chinese TV channels. A TG 1000 system with 200 channels was used for the performances of various Chinese instrumental ensembles and musicians. To be on the safe side, an additional wireless system was made available.

Award for Amiron home
For their latest issue 03/2017, the German specialist magazine Ear In tested the Amiron home headphones and certified them as ‘very good’ (with a score of 1.3). They were also chosen as reference-class headphones. ‘The Amiron home headphones are quite clearly in the reference class, offering the virtues which are typical for Tesla such as good coarse and fine dynamic abilities and excellent resolution. The Amiron home headphones are simply top-class headphones for use at home (...).’

The new I am PRO video with Depeche Mode’s sound engineer Antony King is now available. The video is the third in a series in which musicians and sound professionals give an exciting insight into the fascinating, varied and creative working world centred around headphones and microphones from beyerdynamic. New Instagram account for beyerdynamic
For a few months now, we have been working hard to optimise our social media channels and our fan numbers have grown significantly, especially on Facebook and Twitter. Amongst other innovations, we now have an official beyerdynamic Instagram account, which is mainly used for pictures. Apart from our own material, this is primarily for photos from our fans, which means exciting, atmospheric and aesthetically pleasing images of very personal beyerdynamic experiences.

beyerdynamic’s website gets a new look
After many months of preparation, the new beyerdynamic website is now online and can be visited at www.beyerdynamic.com. It shows our company in a new, more elegant design and is oriented even more consistently towards the needs of our visitors. With attractive pictures and authentic recordings of users, with more interactive elements and a new structure to make it easier for customers to find their way around, both the number of visitors as well as the turnover from online sales should increase even further in future. The integration of an improved online shop system was thus one of the core tasks of the team.

Robotics at beyerdynamic
A few month ago a film team of the manufacturer Robotiq filmed the use of their robots in beyerdynamic’s production department. Wolfgang Luckhardt together with the three beyerdynamic colleagues Jörg Lang, Peter Härtel and Gülhan Boz gave interviews for this, made the necessary preparations and ensured that the recordings were of a high quality. The film is now finished and can be seen on Robotiq’s website.
