For MQA lovers, FiiO has come up with a brand new MQA variant for its famous Q3 USB DAC. Featuring the all-new XMOS XU316 USB processor, the latest Q3 delivers full MQA decoding. The compact Q3 features a high-performance AK4452 DAC and two THX AAA-28 amplifier chips. Like the original Q3, the latest Q3 MQA includes three headphone output ports with one 3.5mm and two symmetrical (4.4mm, 2.5mm) ports that will play most IEMs.

MQA, Master Quality Authenticated, has become the new cutting edge among audio formats. FiiO's latest Q3 MQA model is specifically designed to support the MQA format, evolving it and bringing users a pure studio quality experience. You can enjoy fully decoded Tidal files or offline MQA files.

 

Latest generation USB processor chip

The decoding power that the FiiO Q3 MQA offers is available thanks to the all-new 16-core USB XMOS XU316 processor chip. The XU316 allows the Q3 MQA to decode not only MQA, but also high-resolution PCM 32-bit/384 kHz and native DSD256 files, so there is almost nothing that the Q3 can't decode in full quality.

 

A quality DAC chip? AKM

FiiO has equipped the latest Q3 with its trusted AK4452 DAC chip. This delivers quality performance with exceptional output signal clarity and resolution. Thanks to this DAC, the Q3 MQA achieves very low THD+N harmonic distortion and a high SNR (Signal-to-Noise) ratio that makes noise virtually inaudible.

 

A powerful, THX quality amplifier

Like the original Q3 released last year, the brand new Q3 MQA features two proven THX AA28 amplifier chips that deliver quality performance with extremely clean and linear amplification. The Q3 MQA has an output power of up to 370 mW at 32Ω load. Even with an unbalanced 3.5mm headphone output, you get approximately 160 mW of pure output power.

3 different connectors for all possible headphones

The FiiO Q3 MQA supports both unbalanced and balanced output. It includes 3.5mm unsymmetrical, 2.5mm symmetrical and 4.4mm symmetrical headphone output ports, giving users the freedom to choose their preferred connector.

Extended battery life

The FiiO Q3 MQA supports two battery power modes. You can use it as both a portable and desktop amplifier. The Q3 MQA offers excellent battery life of up to 23 hours when using the Aux input and up to 12 hours when using USB. The Q3 MQA supports UAC 1.0 driverless mode, allowing users to use the amplifier with devices such as the Nintendo Switch and similar.
