Three-band IEM with one dynamic and four BA speakers.
Specific selection of internal components
The JH3s have been designed to deliver exceptional performance - primarily thanks to a large, superbly engineered dynamic transducer. It gives the headphones a very tight and listenable bass, but at the same time doesn't distort the expression of the midrange, which is accurately rendered.
Next to it, the headphones are equipped with two specifically designed balanced transducers, which are responsible for the expression of the upper midrange and treble. They sound distinctive but very neutral. The resulting sound is very entertaining thanks to the combination of these two types of transducers.
Headphone body
The body is made up of a combination of aluminium and high quality plastic, which is moulded for the most comfortable prolonged listening experience. Thanks to the new design, they also feature a new pressure steadying system. By opening the headphones slightly, the dynamic transducer is able to move more naturally, resulting in improved performance. The biggest benefit, however, is still greater comfort for long-term listening.
Cable and connectors
The 0.78mm 2-pin connectors were finally used on the headphones instead of the widely used MMCX connectors. This is no problem though, as FiiO themselves offer several replacement cables for this connector, including a wireless adapter. However, the cable you get with these headphones doesn't need to be changed. It's made up of monocrystalline high purity copper, which is folded into 4 strands for a total of 120 individual wires. At the end, there is a gold-plated L-shaped 3.5mm jack.
