Highest wireless quality

The FiiO BTR7 is FiiO's new wireless headphone DAC/amplifier. It is the highest model in the line of portable wireless amplifiers, and its specs look accordingly. FiiO has spared no expense in the choice of chips. There are two ESS ES9219C DAC chips and two THX AAA-28 amplifier chips. Thanks to this combination of audio chips, the BTR7 offers a fully symmetrical output with high power handling and incredible clarity and accuracy of sound. In addition, an XMOS XUF208 USB interface chip is used, which supports high quality formats up to PCM 384kHz/32bit, DSD256 and MQA 8x file decoding. The BTR7 offers Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity thanks to a Qualcomm QCC5124 chip, all powered by an 880 mAh battery that can easily last for several days of use. In addition, the device supports wireless charging.

 

Comfort of use

The body of the device is, as is customary with Fiio, made of a combination of aluminum and solid glass. On the front, there is a 1.3-inch IPS display that shows all the necessary playback information. It offers two headphone ports, a 3.5mm unsymmetrical and a 4.4mm symmetrical jack.
The BTR7 is compatible with a mobile app that offers amplifier control and adjustments to the resulting sound.
