MQA (Master Quality Authenticated)

M7 player includes MQA Technology, which enables you to play back MQA audio files and streams, delivering the sound of the original master recording.
‘MQA’ or ‘MQA Studio’ indicates that the product is decoding and playing an MQA stream or file, and denotes provenance to ensure that the sound is identical to that of the source material. ‘MOA Studio’ indicates it is playing an MQA Studio file, which has either been approved in the studio by the artist/producer or has been verified by the copyright owner. Streamlined wave design

M7 follows our new design approach, inspired by Shanling’ 25th anniversary edition HiFi line.

Using precise CNC machines, creating the whole main chasis from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminium, with a complex wave pattern on the sides, all in elegant titanium grey finish. Adding glass panels to front, back and top of the player for a clean and smooth look.

Outstanding image quality

Coming with a beautiful 5-inch LCD panel from Sharp, offering 1920x1080 resolution, stunning colors and great viewing angels. Fitted into the "floating screen" design of the front panel, providing for better user exprerience.

OP + BUF architecture

Fully Balanced 4-channel amplifier circuit, based on Shanling’s OP + BUF amplifier architecture. Designed for a superior sound quality with zero unwanted noise.

In-House developed I/V stage

Pair of ADI ADA4896-2 amplifiers in a highly optimized I/V conversion stage, carefully matched with each resistor and capacitor for the ultimate performance.

High Precision Thin Film Resistors

With 0,01% accuracy and great stability, thin film resistors represent a key part of M7's design.

Panasonic Tantulum-polymer Capacitors

Highly accurate, less sensitive to temperature fluctuations and greatly reliable for a long-term usage.

MUSES8920

Dual-channel J-FET operational amplifier, assuring low noise and low distortion, staple of Hi-Fi designs and important foundation of the finest sound.

KDS crystal oscillators & 3RD generation FPGA

Two Japanese KDS active crystal oscillators and improved Shanling’s algorithm provides better accuracy and enhanced performance when decoding PCM or DSD data, up to 32 bit / 768 kHz and DSD512.

Modern CPU performance

Running on the Qualcomm snapdragon 665 CPU, the eight cores and 11nm architecture provide more than enough processing power for any modern applications. Also allowing for a longer battery life thanks to the lower power consumption and its reduced heat emission compared to competiors, a very welcome addition in a HiFi grade device.

With 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM, M7 provides smooth multitasking operationand offers sufficient storage for all your apps and their offline data.
